You could start investing in some serious mods.

I"m seriously thinking about it.
Money right now for me is tight(Had a bad 3 months......), but even if I had money, I wouldn't know the first thing into doing any mods to my car.
My step dad works on our cars, but he won't touch my SVX for some reason....

So, I'm pretty much stuck with it right now.
The SVX has over 194000 miles on it I'm not even sure I can fix the things that are wrong with it. I'm planning on getting a new Chilton book for it, then maybe I can work on it.

Anyhow, at least you have the rare, better-looking, elegant car.

re: well you could try greenmarine

well you could see if greenmarine could smuggle out a few rockets for you off base considering he's in charge of that stuff. maybe you can use liquid steel to attach the rockets on your roof. dunno about you, but i'd bet that'd shut the guy up. j/k

the last suby meeting i went to in atlanta (hm..guess it was the first one), me and a few wrx'ers thought that would be funny to do and flirted with the idea of making a replica of a rocket, strapping it to the roof and drive up and down barrett parkway (where all the little ricers and mustang racers drive up and down the little stretch of road every weekend and tries to races each other between stoplights and the 3 minute interval cop patrols.) anyhoo..the wrx is going to leave you behind. i've tried and it's not even close. varoom and the wrx is in the distance if you race him, it's going to fuel his ego more man. as chris rock says, 'let it sliiiide.' and walk away

Well, I'm good at lower his ego heheheh LOL
Knock him back down to size, thats for sure.
Who know's I might not race him, he's being an ass right now!

I just feel better knowing he's a momma's boy, and hes a HUGE baby lol

Thanx guys. Wish there was something more I can do, to make my car a little faster without actually doing much to it.

Only thing thats easily done that'd get you to beat him would be some good ol' N20. If he's really being a jerk you could put a banana in his exhaust

SVX vs SVX?

It's pretty safe to assume that all SVXs are not created equal. Stock to stock, my yellow one could kick my black ones tail. Has anyone ever raced another stock SVX? Was it dead even? What's my point?

I don't know.

there will be no "sliding". awd does not allow it. seriously tho, some light mods and weight reduction is enough. my friends sentra is right there with WRXs. and im a little faster than him. hmmmm........

I don't know about the WRX but I definitely got my ass kicked by an 2.5 RS the other day. My friend was driving and there were a total of 3 of us in the car. We took off from a dead stop at this stoplight and the dude just killed us right away! We sped up to about 60mph and gave up.

I dunno but part of it may be that my friend hasn't driven the SVX at all and the RS had a 5 speed... what do you guys think?

having 3 people in your car probably didn't help.

Alright.... so what is that suspension mumbo-jumbo anyway? GreenMarineSVX, You've got the 5-speed... how's 0-60mph in your SVX? I'm still puzzled about this whole thing... is it worth doing, or is it not? I don't like spending way too much money on my car. Is it reliable enough for a daily driver or am I going to end up replacing the clutch every 3 months? What is your experience. Please share

Nick
