Why racing is bad
The STI has barely been out for a month and even with all its advanced AWD coupled differentials and 300 HP... It's still no match for every car's common enemy....
... The Idiot driver http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=381026 Pretty crazy. But essentially the STI was speeding in excess of 100 MPH supposedly trying to beat a mercedes and attempt to cut it off. A jeep got in the way and the STI slammed into it, spun around and bashed into a parked Civic on the other side of the street. The Jeep's whole rear axle flew off along with its wheels. Suprisingly no one was seriously injured. The STI did hold up pretty nicely considering the speed. Anywho, I'm glad I havent witnessed any accidents due to speeding or racing.

Wow what idiots. That didn't look like a very good area for doing 100+MPH. Kinda funny how the news reports were saying the Civic was racing, as if they just heard the name "Civic" and thought it must have been racing, and that they had no idea what the hell the Subaru was. I'm sure if an SVX accident was to be reported on the news it would be called a white (or what ever) sports car.
The nasioc guys already tracking down what junk yard it's going to. Dibs on tranny.
