My biggest problem is I don't remember there being two wires with square sockets, I only remember one. I took the transmission from a 1991 rhd legacy L wagon.

Re: phase 2 4eat question.

The US 4EAT has two square connectors. I think one is 12 pin and the other is 16??

It should be the same as the Legacy, except that the speed sensor is a two wire Inductive sensor, instead of the three wire Hall Effect one, that the SVX uses.
Just swap the speed sensors.

Harvey.

Re: phase 2 4eat question.

I also noticed a wire running to back of the transmission, it was right on top of the tail housing. Is this a speed sensor?
