Okay, so what's the trick to getting both hose clamps on the silicone hoses that hook up to the throttle body. I'm working on a variation that YT and I designed and the hoses are right against each other once you push them on the throttle body.

That was actually easy. Leave off the throttle body clamps until you get the hoses and intake completely in position. They can be the last things put on. Spray a good bit of WD40 on the hoses and clamps, open the clamps completely and slide one down through the slight gap between the hoses, tighten it good (tightening it actually depresses the hose leaving a slight gap to slide the other one through), slide the other one down through and then tighten it. Done.
