Re: My 1973 Subaru 1400 GSR

Cool photos,
I not sure if you know but the GSR was the Subaru that gave the company it reputation. The model before had inboard disk brakes on the side of the gearbox. The GSR twin carburetor are made by Zeinth Stromberg and the engine had floating liners.
In Australia they became famous by winning the Southern Cross rally championship. Would you beleive I still have all the parts & workshop manual for GSR Subaru.

Ive been slowly trying to buy up any thing for GSR/ 1400 for parts work books etc

Do you know any info or even pics of the GSRs racing Monaros in 24 race event?
I no the GSR/GSRs won. they had better fuel eccommoniy and did a few 1000kms more. needed less pit stops etc. That race was done in Ozzy.

also do you have pics or info on Southern Cross rally championship?

Thanks

Re: My 1973 Subaru 1400 GSR

DOn't have any photos and don't want to sell the manuals. I am hoping that I will one day find another GSR. But I won't hold my breath.
