wheel opinions

anyone with 18" wheels.....how is the ride? is it harsher? debating on whether to get 17" or 18".

No idea, but I think some dished 18s would just look... gah... sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Alan,

I have 17x7.5 w/225/45-17 Kumho 712's and SVX10 has 18x8's (unsure of tire). I have noticed a loss in ride quality with the change.

Get in touch with SVX10 for his thoughts. He has pics in his locker.

I have 17x7 enkei wheels with 225 25 17 Sumitomo HTRZII tires. I dont like the ride at all. You can feel more bumps, thus making the car feel more 'loose.' I always switch back to the stock wheels when I go on long trips.
