Just seeing if anybody might know how hard this would be to fix myself (see pics). I have done a bit of body work before. I can get the knew pieces and i know It will take some welding. Any thoughts? and if anyone has to pieces it would take let me know please.

Well Your going to need a new quarter panel. Just remove any parts touching the panel and you will see circles where Subaru spot welds them into place. Get a spot weld cutter bit for a drill and drill every spot weld off. Then chisle the panel carefully off the car. Also drill holes in the new panel so you can weld it to the car later. Then attack new panel with vise grips and check your gaps on the door and trunk lid. When everything fits plug weld the holes in the new panel to the car and ground the off with a grinder if neccessary. A spot welder will cut the time of this in half if you can get access to one. Other than that if you think you can tackle it I would just ask some independant body shops how much they would charge.

Re: body damage repair (maybe)

Ok. Thanks for the tips. think there was any structural damage done? I haven't been able to look at it other than those pictures (deployed overseas right now). I got the car in Oct. last year and my girlfriend has been driving it (hence the damage) sorry ladies, no offenseshe is well below average on the female drivers scale. just don't know if i might find something worse behind there when i pull it off.

Of course. I love her to death, and our little girl too. She does cost me some money though.
