Cool Disc pads & Rotors - world compatible?

I have just had my car serviced (pick-up later today) & the guys reckon that in approx 3 months the pads will be down to minimum, they also mentioned that the rotors are pretty thin also.

So I was wanting to "upgrade" both front & rear to drilled & slotted rotors together with ceramic pads.

But my question is are these parts the same around the world?

I will find out the part numbers from New Zealand.

Does anyone know if Dayle still works at www.Motorsportwarehouse.com as I am keen to buy from them (as I have bought stuff from them before).

thanks

Stephen.

Dayle is still at Motorsports.
I believe that your rear rotors are different from what we have in The States.
Are your rear rotors ventelated?

Cool Re: Pads & Rotors - world compatible?

Mine rears are solid, but would consider changing them to vented - if I knew that they would fit?

If your rear rotors are a solid, and no less tham 8.5 mm thick, and just over 11" in diameter with drum parking brakes, then you can use the rotors that we use.
Switching to thicker rear rotors would require different rear calipers.

Re: Pads & Rotors - world compatible?

Yes Dale has already outlined the different thicknesses between solid & vented - so will have to stick to solid ones.

Give me a ring, I know a place in NZ that you can get the work done - also I have a set of slotted rotors that will suit you. 07 3773465
