Last weekend was the the annual Kumeu V8 and hot rod show, the biggest car show in NZ and as usual I went up on the Friday to meet up with my bogan/westie mates (I am a closet muscle car fan) as we do every year to basically to sit in the sun, drink and talk alot of BS for two days. When I got there I just parked in a convenient space in our little corner of the field. What supprised me was the number of people who walked straight past cars like my mates fully tricked out supercharged big block (about 750 rear wheel hp) '67 Camaro to look at my SVX, people were even having their photo taken posing next to it.
I think my car is now the most photographed SVX in NZ.



Spot the odd one out.

PS I also found out that the passenger seat is a comfortable place to sleep after Jagermeister.

What's the red sedan 2 down from your SVX? Also is that black truck-looking car towards the back right an El Camino?

The red sedan is a Holden Commodore SS, my mate is trying to flog it for $4.5K, 5litre V8 + 5spd.

The black ute is a Holden VZ SS ute, 6litre v8 + 6spd (from the factory!)

.........in Black, lowered with 20"s, would you believe that the guy who owns it uses it everyday as a work vehicle (he's a builder).
