Does any one know whats needed to change a cluster over from km to english?
is it as simple as just replacing the cluster?

You just need a new gauge. You don't have to replace the entire cluster.

I probably have a few extra gauges I could afford to lose and could also use an extra metric gauge or 2.

You cant just swap the guage as the signal will be in KMH.

All you need is a signal converter, we have to change every car that comes in from Japan to MPH for testing & registration.

PM for info and I can send you 1 at cost and Phil has a section on his page on here on how to fit it and sort the 70mph limit on on cruise and the chip also removes the speed limiter.
