Driver's door will not unlock

In order to fit 2 cars and my motorcycles in our drive port in the rear of the house i park the SVX with the passenger side about 4 inches from my neighbors chain link fence. I was going to move the car today to wash another but the driver's door would not unlock. The lock/unlock lever inside the vehicle is not moving at all. I can see the passenger lever locking and unlocking as i use the remote to lock and unlock the car. Was able to sgueeze over to the passenger side enough to open the door and with a stick try to push the drivers side lever up to unlock the car, it would not budge. The driver's side actuator was replaced almost 2 years ago because that side would not lock, now it's the opposite it will not open.....I"ll need to find maybe a kid that can squeeze in there and unlatch and lower the rear seat then i can climb in thru the trunk. Or figure a way to move the car away from the fence enough for me to get in other than paying for a tow truck.
So i'm assuming something is either broken or disconnected in that drivers door........Mannnnnnnn!

If you can figure a way to disconnect the battery, that may allow the actuator to release. But to do that I guess you need to pop the hood, and if you get that far...

Sorry I don't have any good suggestions

Those of you who have met me know i'm not a sting bean of a guy, 6 feet and 200lbs. Well with my son pulling the neighbors fence outward i somehow squeezed my butt in the passenger side of the car while my wife is telling me not to hurt anything precious
Once inside i could lift the drivers latch enough and the door opened. Tried to push it down to lock it but it wouldn't go down. So now the car is unlocked and will not lock. Started the car up because i was going to turn it around but changed my mind figured i'd pull the door panel to see what my problem was. I guess the SVX didn't like that idea because all of a sudden, probably from starting the car, the door locking mechanism is working as advertised. Even so i made sure the rear seat isn't all the way latched so that if i have to i can get in thru the trunk.....End of story....So all you old timers tell me what just happened...........When i say old timers i'm not referring to age but to long time SVX ownership............

THANKS for listening..........

The car was asking for attention. I am glad you got it working again. I have heard of this happening once in a while, and it may be electrical. I would make sure the battery is charged and that may help.
