CE codes 32 and 37
Just checked my blinky CE light codes and this is what I come up with.
Looks like both O2 sensors. They were both replaced 2 years ago when I first bought the car. Anyone know why they would only last 2 years? No other noticeable problems..They were installed by Subaru, so they were OEM parts. Also where could I pick up these sensors other than through Subaru? Thanks |

Only the 96 and 97 SVXii have 3 - O2 sensors.
OEM part number 22690AA180

Thank you ....Trish at subaruparts says she couldn't find three sensors for 1995 unless it was the 96 or 97 ...so you are correct...I was going to crawl under the car tonight to check for her. So my codes 32 and 37 are for left and right it appears.
Thanks for the p/n's!! |

O2 sensor codes.
As they were replaced 2 years ago.
You might consider that there may be some other fault with the engine, that is causing the O2 sensors to produce 'an out of limits reading'. Like a vacuum leak, loose manifold, fuel, etc. Harvey.

I am curious if the codes were not reset 2 years ago.....but it was strange...I only saw the CE light illuminate once this week a few days ago and it hasn't happened since. If the sensors were in fact bad would the CE light show up again soon?? If it was 40 dollars I wouldn't have a problem replacing them right away, but I'm looking at 200 dollars or so for something I'm not sure of.
Should I reset the code before I replace them...and see if the code comes back?? |
