Even the local O'Reilley Auto Parts outlet beat that Subaru dealership's quote by $10 (for OEM, not aftermarket), and it's just five minutes from the office rather that an hour and a half down the road. And would the dealership consider drop-shipping from the Subaru regional distribution center near Atlanta? Yeah, right. They got a chuckle out of that.

Yep, same here (o'course this is the same dealership that wanted $4,600.00 for a suby reman transmission ).

Yeah, it's wierd. I had just ordered front C/A bushings from them and they were cheaper than anywhere else. Plus, they rushed them for only 2.00 freight, instead of putting them in their batch order (Friday for Tuesday delivery). It's a crapshoot.

That's what scorches me. I used to order a lot of parts from Subaruparts.com. They'd order them from Atlanta (I'm sure the plane flew over my house). So, it was like 3 days to get the parts from Atlanta and another 3-4 to ship them from Seattle to me. Six day turnaround is just not acceptable.

Brian at Langsford has been very cooperative. He's not ALWAYS the least expensive, but, he is most of the time. PLUS, the faster turnaround is worth a little extra $ now and again.
