Good article.

I don't know why I've always thought of Renault as some old beater that's parked in the yard of a house trailer.... with a beer can sitting on the roof, and an old rug thrown across the hood.... I've never even known anyone that has owned one. Why do I think that?

Probably because they gave up importing their cars to the US in the '80's !! There have been some howlers in Renault history, but nowadays they make some pretty good cars. Now of course they own most of Nissan, have had historical links with Volvo and have been pretty successful in F1 this year.......

Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a dig !! And we have equivalent vehicles for our equivalent of the "projects"............

I want that song!

Quote from the article:

"Renault's V-10 also will live on in song. By using various frequencies in the exhaust noise, each of which corresponds to a particular musical note, some mischievous engineers tuned the engine to "sing" Queen's "We Are the Champions" on the dyno and recorded it for prosperity."

Where can I download that mp3?

Edit - The mp3 is in my locker.
