What is this thingy thats broken?
OK, I opened my hood to replace my tranny resister that sperry fixed for me (thanks man, it works awesome) and noticed that this little clip was broken. It is on the right side of the alternator, and it is two little clips right next to each other. The only real problems I have been having recently are a low and fluctuating idle, but I have written that off to a dirty TPS, which I am cleaning tommorrow. Can anyone tell me what these clips are, and what their function is? Also, where can I get some new ones?
PS: Sorry, the second picture sucks, and the third one is a picture with the piece pulled out, so you can see the metal "needle" on the end of it. Last edited by dwd1985; 11-05-2005 at 04:39 PM.

Those clips have to do with you air conditioning. The first picture if ok, but the last 2 are - well, out of focus. I think I saw what you were describing.
