Exclamation code 25 on the tranny, what does it mean

Ive got a code 25 on my tranny, when i look at the explanasions 25 dont exist.
Does anyone know what seems to be the problem?
The tranny is newly rebuild.
The next problem i´ve got is the engine, it apears that the 2nd sensor for the crankshaft not working, is this bad? can i fix this by my self or?

Gid'ay Patrik, welcome to the forum.

The code 25 is for the "Engine Torque Control" signal. This is sent to the engine to turn down the torque, while the transmission changes gear. If this signal is not there, the gear box changes, will be very hard. It will "bang" into gear as you pull it into Drive or reverse, and the rest of the changes will not be very smooth. If this is the case, then the wire between the two will be either shorted or disconnected.

The crankshaft sensor could be replaced by yourself. There are two on the crankshaft and one on the left hand cam shaft. The crankshaft sensors can be seen just above the front crankshaft pulley. One of the crank sensors and the cam sensor are the same part number. The other crank sensor is a different number.

Harvey.

Thanx very mucho!

Here in scandinavia we Svx owner have some trouble getting spareparts to our lovely car.
There were only one Svx sold in Sweden, (-93) and that car was sold to a Subaru dealer as a promotion car.
There are only between 20-30 registered cars here in Sweden.
The most of the Subaru dealers barely heard of the Svx before i´ve asked for parts!!!
Do you know where i can order these sensors for the crank by the net, and what part nr. it got?
Where can i locate the conections of the cable between the tranny and engine which control the torque.
Does anyone know why my car is uneconomic in fuelconsumtion? I ride about
220 miles on a full tank
Thank you all in this forum
I´ve had mine SVX for 3 years now, ride it for about 5k miles, this have costed me about 8000 Euros in repair costs.
Hopely getting answers, see u
