I had my stock 94 L at 146mi and still gaining , but had to slow down for a corner. It was on about a 3-4 mile stretch of slight down grade but pretty much flat. No pics to prove it but I know from personal experience the svx is capable.

Welcome to the board. Sorry for your trouble. I had a simular problem. I had mine 3 days when I backed into a piece of metal rod sticking out the side of a street lamp. I was 5 inches from the pole.
