I suppose there was no news from the shop today?

I hope you know I'm just trying to inject a small (miniscule?) amount of levity here, just so you don't go postal... I know I'd be pretty wound up.

I do understand. I know you're not being malicious. Now that I've met you, and can hear your voice and see your expression when I read your posts, I know you're not the callous fart I had you made out to be. Well, not entirely.

No. No word from the shop today. I'm hoping they'll give me a birthday present tomorrow -- actually, it's my Daughter's birthday, but, she'll be glad to have her Dad back to normal -- a great birthday present for her.

Well Happy Birthday to her on her 40th! heheheheh I'd let that stand if it wasn't for the slight chance (geographical) that she might hunt me down for saying that.

She's having a hard enough time just turning 17!! "I'm just a year away from being a real adult, daddy." She still calls me "daddy" -- aint that cute?

Lucky for you, she doesn't have her daddy's "red-neck gene."

If nothing else, calling Randy's daughter a 'chick' probably just lost you that chance.

Re: whoops...

even though this is way off topic, I wont be driving to A2 after this semester. I convinced my g/f that msu is better, so she's transfuring here for grad school Now if i could only convince her that the svx has priority over her.....

Don't feel bad. No guy has a chance right now. She doesn't date, doesn't want to date and will not even consider "courting" 'til she's spent a year in the mission field (her choice, not my goading). I won't go into the difference between courting and dating, but, the major advantage of the system is that you'd have to spend a lot of time with ME and the entire Family -- not "one on one" nights out with my daughter. And, it ain't like she's some "little old maid" looking kid.

haha I'm quite familiar w/ the process, thank god i've never had to go though it! I wouldn't last but a few moments if some of my ex's dads got a hold of me Fortunatly the majority of my ex's are all from a far ways away where their evil fathers cant get me college is a wonderful thing. I think the current female to male ratio at msu is 3:1. Make sure she goes to a catholic for girls college only that's right next door lol
