Audi commercial
Has anyone else seen the Audi TV ad where an A4 is used as a pizza delivery vehicle? I watched that and scoffed. "Yea, right... Who in their right mind is going to deliver pizzas in a A4?" THEN, I relized that I am delivering pizzas in my SVX. DOH! Darn it.

Looks like a good place to repeat an old story.
Last summer we were visiting my sister and her husband in Daytona. They have a white 2001 Corvette convertible and a white 1998 Porsche 911S (wide body). So when the pizza delivery guy comes, he has to pass all three cars. He comes in and says, "Whoa, cool Subaru!"
Gotta love that car! Steve

Pizza's being delivered in an SVX?? Now that is my idea of service!!!
I would be ordering my meatloves pizza - no cheese - every night of the week! Best of luck next year Chris...I am sure that things will be looking up. My contract is up soon and I can empathise completely. Jamsvx

Pizza boss
Well, actually I was the manager for three stores in my local area for three years before I got engaged and moved to Seattle. As for my milage, its sucking hardcore. This is due the the start-stop, and fast paced driving I do. Yes, my pizzas are all delivered FAST. And if I cannot find the address quick, I have a GPS and the latest maps downlaoded to my laptop. Worse case, I borrow my moms cellular phone when I do deliver and just call the customer. You woul dnot belive how many people order pizzas and forget to turn their outside lights on. What a pain. What bugs me more is when I deliver a hot pizza to a $300+ thousand house within 20 minutes of their order time and get no tip. That burns my.... well, you fill in the blank. Anyways, I am having all sorts of milage problems. Winter gas, hard driving, and possibly a fuel injector sticking. I have been getting any where from 11.2mpg to 17mpg. Its really driving me nuts becuase my fuel guage has not worked for over 2 years and I normally just fill up around the 200-240 miles per tank mark. But recently my low fuel light has been comming on around the 150-200 miles on a tank mark. And fuel here is STILL expensive. $1.32 to $1.39 a gallon here for premium 92 octane name brand gas. $1.25 to $1.29 for alcohol blended fuel at 94 octane.

just work hard, your life'll have a good change! i don't think your mileage is too bad when for 200-240/tank. i got mine about 12mpg up/down hill+stop/go purely city. city+highway i got 16mpg up. highway i got abt 20mpg but i was driving for >90mph. no cruise. maybe i shld learn to drive just 70mph on highway and see if i could get 25,6,7mpg up. i think my mpg is normal. i checked w/ the few svxers in town. they got the same mpgs as mine even the fwd. i want to install/test a fuelsaving thing(it works great on my other cars) on my svx also taking care of my engine better in the coming year soon. i'll share my results.
