Yes, given that they're new pads - definitely follow the "bedding in" directions that come with the rotors (they are zinc coated, so you'll be burning the zinc off of the actual braking surface in addition to "bedding" the pads to the rotor surface).

Stock Brake pads

Can you use STOCK brake pads with Raceconcept.net rotors?

Thanks for your reply Bill. What exactly does "bedding" the pads mean and how is this done? Or is it done automatically with normal braking after the new rotors are put on? I installed new brake pads for the front almost exactly 1 year ago (About 12,000 miles), and I have new brake pads waiting to be installed for the back.

I'm most likely going to have a local brake shop install these new rotors, so I will have to tell them about the "bedding-in" of the pads and I would like to have an idea of what that is, so I can make sure they do it. Thanks.
