The Subbie Food Network

Hey I got bored(what else is new) and after talking to a few people who either moved to Atlanta or is coming to visit, they wanted to know some good places to eat. I just thought hell, we have so many members around the world maybe people can post up good restaurants cheap and expensive so visitors can have an inkling of where to go (and maybe not to go ).

Here's a thread for it!

I have a spreadsheet of restaurants in Atlanta that I'll upload later. I'd like to find out what's good out in other cities so when I travel I can have some good cookin'

Harry's Savoy Bar & Grill
Naamans & Foulk Roads
Wilmington, DE

Excellent steaks & prime ribs. Its a white linen table cloth kind of place, so bring money.
They also have an extensive wine cellar (Sorry Ron; no boxes).

Stanleys Tavern
Foulk & Grubb Rds.
Wilmington, DE

This is a sports bar with about 20 TV's. It is the oldest bar in northern DE. I think the delegates to the first constitutional convention (Phila, ~1780's) ate and drank there on their way to Philly. They carry about 100 different beers, many on tap.
It's a kick your shoes off kind of place. Food is good and they have the best salad bar in the area. Tues night is all you can eat ribs. The baby backs are super.

The Charcoal Pit
Concord Pike (Rte 202)
Wilmington (Talleyville), DE

Absolutely the best burgers. They are made from ground prime sirloin. They are broiled on an open flame by real peole not machines. Try the 1/2 lb. 'Pit Special'.

It looks like 'Arnolds' on 'Happy Days'.

my parents lived down there for a couple years and we went to a place called the Lone Star (not the chain.) they lived in Riverdale, so it was outside Atlanta a little i think. the shrimp were the size of lobster tails - yum!
this place, instead of having a stuffed moose head on the wall had the whole moose! there was even a weirdo who performed called the 'Chicken Man'. it was different, but good eats.
