I hate to impose, but . . .

. . . I could use some help from the Coloradians.

My computer says that the quickest way from Denver to Kremmling is to go north on 40 at I70 Exit 232. I believe I took that route last February.

On the map though, it appears that the quickest way would be to continue West on 70 to Exit 205 and take 9 north (which basically follows the Blue River valley - one would think that it wouldn't be as hilly). It looks to be around 8 miles shorter.

Basically, who should I trust? Bill Gates, or Rand McNally?

Thanks. You may now return to your meet thread (and I still hate it that I'm gonna miss that )

Thanks!

But I'm not goint to Grand Junction.

I'm coming from Illinois, and going to Steamboat Springs. I would've tried to get to Grand Junction, but I'll be a week late (and several dollars short).

I was just thinking, since I have to go through Kremmling (that's in Colorado, Dave, Mitch ) anyway, I'd like for a local to show me the quickest way.

Gee whiz. You locals don't seem to get up north often.
