Fix the click click

Install a relay as shown in pix.
simply connect the relay as follows.
#30 High power 12V from the battery + terminal (must be fused)
#85 Battery ground negative terminal
#86 trigger wire (from the factory starter (solenoid wire)
#87a to the starter solenoid.
and that's it. Works good no more click.
More details.
Disconnect the factory starter solenoid wire and cut of the factory female slide connector, strip the wire and crimp on a new female connector. Use a male slide connector and wire to the relay, (If one ever wants to go back to the factory wiring, just plug it back into the solenoid). Make sure you have at least 14g wire and 12g from the battery and from the relay to the starter solenoid and are making really good connector crimps.

Re: Fix the click click

One thing I would do differently on that is use the waterproof connectors that have the rubber over the end, or at the very least use dielectric grease on it. You can get weatherproof plugs that have that relay connector on them, since it is a standard connector. I'm going to do this to mine soon, when I do I'll see how hard it'd be to make a plug-in harness that I can make available to the forum as a kit that you'd just plug in to power and the starter.
