I'll admit that the way they painted the waterfall grill changes what the lights look like at a distance

Shoot. My grandkids watched that at my place recently (maybe they have it on DVD?), and we missed that. My grandson got a kick out of the much-maligned SVX installment of "Top Gear." So did my mechanic...

Re: Svx in a 2012 movie

Yep, it was an SVX... It's actually in the movie TWICE! There are two shots (not sure how they managed that) on what looks like the same stretch of road but at different points in the movie.

I went and saw the movie lastnight (after having not logged onto here for probably 6+ months), and when I saw it I said outloud "HOLY ****, That's an SVX!! I used to have one of those!! Looks like a 1996 even!"... To which point I got my first ever "Shussssh" from a stranger... What can I say, I was so happy to see a movie and see a car that looked so much like my first Subie

Re: Svx in a 2012 movie

another question i just wondered is if the owner of the car from the movie is on any of the forums.

and lastly, was the car put there for a particular reason? I havent seen it yet but if its about turning 40 and such, wouldnt it reason that lots of people who are 40 would remember the car in a certain way? maybe im over-thinking that part but when these 40 year olds were turning 19 the svx would have just come out.
