solarsvx is back in another svx,

just picked up a 1992 black svx locally in Tampa it has 85k on it and has been well taken care of,

its a rust free Florida car all its life, the previous owner did lots modifications to it some i like and some i don’t,

i will post some pics up soon i literally just got it last night

the car does need some minor work it will need new tie rod ends and a rear wheel bearing

all the major work has been dont, timing belt, valve cover gasket, new cv joints, new belts, etc etc, it does have a small engine leak somewhere around the transmission are but very very minor and haven’t been able to pinpoint exactly where yet,

i will post pics and list of the mods on the car i will be taken some of it off and selling to the svx members are swapping them out for free,

Ahh, you picked that one up. Glad you were able to find one after the issues with the last one.
Also, the engine leak is quite possibly the rear main or rear separator plate.

hocrest i hope it isnt the main rear enging seal, im going to have to clean the area up some and get in for a closer look,

i ended up paying $4,000 for the car

it does have some nice hi end sterio stuff that i like

and if you see in the yes he did cut a hole in front bumper with a scoop for the air intake why ? i have no clue !! so i will be replacing the bumper at some poit with a OEM one,

also he installed angel eye which im not a big fan of and will be looking for OEM'S

and changing out the rims

the exhaust sounds reasonable good very quiet, im use to the super loud exhaust that was on the evo x, they did a nice job with dual all the way back with cats and resonators,

i bieleve the front bumper has been repainted it has some small work on the back quarter panel that is shoty work

it has a clear car fax report but that doesnt count for anything these days

I like the way it looks. Never saw the rear visor before. The front looks good although the hood looks duller than the rest of the car. I hope he gave you the GPS after drilling holes through the dash to mount it. Looks like a custom exhaust also .I also like the wheels. U were planning on putting on the STOCK or something else

looks like he carbon fiber wraped the hood and mirrors for some reason

the rear visor is not for this car, he cut it to make it work not a big fan of it,

also i will be changing out the rims in the near future also i can offer them up for the svx guys,

i will get a whole list of what im keeping and needing here soon for every one and some spare parts you guys can just have and pay for shipping,

Nice looking svx, agreed, can the wheels. I llike the rear window deflector. First one Ive ever seen on a svx. I had one of those on my 5.0 stang back in the day

I'm sure you'll ditch the ugly mods and make it look gorgeous. You have great taste! The wheels are horrible, and that visor thing is totally inappropriate for a japanese car, but it looks like it's in fabulous condition. Congratulations!
