When I look at the wheel travel with the GC set up this should be a problem for all Koni/GC users.....

Any comment is welcome
Thats why I used much longer springs.

OK,
You start with a set of Koni struts, only available through me
(or some other kindred spirit) for about $761 plus shipping , or
$800+something through the Classic Garage.

Then you do the requisite remanufacture of the strut bodies.

Here is where my system gets different.

Instead of the Ground Control's, you buy at $39.00 each 400# X 10" front springs, and 300#X 12" rear springs through Summit Racing.
Now you find some steel washers with a 2.25" inside diameter and about a 5" outside diameter and weld them into the bottom of your cut down strut bodies.

Now you need to have some custom made upper strut mounts made so that this system will work.
I can have these made (right now) for $200.00 plus shipping.
More later, I am sure.
This system is non-adjustable as far as height adjustment goes.
And your SVX will not be lower than stock.
But it corners flat, rides well, and transforms the car from a softly sprung GT, to a car that actually goes where you point it.

Or I can build them for you and ship them to you.
$45.00 an hour for as long as it takes to build them.
$5.00 shop fee.
And whatever shipping is.

That would be awesome. I have a friend that can middle-man the shipping for me as well so that's not an issue.

I have decided I'm not going to buy that SVX, but there's a couple other things. I'm not going to repair my SVX this winter. I'm going to buy an economical car and store the SVX, however I would still like to take advantage of your project as soon as I can, but I would also like to hold out for as long as I can which may be only a month or so. Depends how things go, but I will give you my word that I will take up one of your offers.

I'm not sure if I elaborated on this 'til now yet, but my car needs at least $9k in work to get it really road worthy considering the abuse I'm now dishing out, and it so happened that my math worked out in such a way that a new car is more economically feasible at this time, but as I have stated before, I will never sell the SVX. I will run it into the ground first and replace every part. (;

Any camber plates you could make work on top with this set up?

Re: Koni G/C Eibach Package

Update for me: I am obviously not buying a new car this winter and I am apparently pouring tons of cash into the SVX.

Right now I intend to rebuild the suspension by this spring one way or another.

Files, if you could give me a rough idea of what the total cost would be (shop/labor/parts, what have you) before shipping I would appreciate it. I can't weld and I'm not sure if I can afford the down-time having someone else potentially muck-up the install so I am looking at the full-on Files package.

It's worth noting however I still have not heard from my friend since mid-October, so shipping is once again an issue.

Speaking of issues, it seems my hood struts no longer hold up the hood, at least in low temperatures, so I will be wanting a FB hood very soon.

K-Mac C/C plates should work with your set up shouldn't they tom? it's essentially the same setup as the Koni w/ G.C. setup

Re: Koni G/C Eibach Package

svxfiles, I am in a very similer predicament as NikFu, no wielder available and unsure how to modify the strut.

I would be very curious what the price would be to get them from you. I do have one other question I would like a small drop in ride height would that be feasible?
