Jones Subaru here in Bel Air, Maryland is advertising a 1994 Barcelona Red LSi with 42,000 miles for $10,989.00 (but will entertain offers)

Wow, sad thing was I bought a subaru legacy from them years ago and have done other business with them but that price is awful high. 42k or not i dunno though I wish our cars value was up in that area. I guess I am not the type to pay 10k for something I can get for under 2k depending on the details.
FYI they were not very good at dealing with my girlfriend and her problem Nissan Sentra we ended up having to sell it because Jones gave up trying to fix the check engine light under the still existing warranty and claimed we would need to start with $2k with no guarantee of correcting it. Jones isn't my favorite they just have alot of options and are close by.

Damn, that is a lot of money.
But is it crazy for me to think that if I had the money, I'd make an offer on a pristine SVX. Maybe not 11 large, but still. How many of these museum pieces can be left at this point? Although I have to say, I'd prefer a Laguna blue.

Kelly Blue Book suggested RETAIL for this car is $6650. Someone should make a (reasonable) offer. All they can say is "no".

I don't doubt that's true, Nate. Frankly, I think KBB is a horrible source for pricing most ANY car. The funny thing is, big dealers swear by it when it benefits them, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if I went in to negotiate over this one, quoted the KBB suggested retail price, and had the dealer tell me the same thing Nate just did about how KBB didn't apply to rare low-mileage vehicles. I really just meant to suggest there would be no harm if someone went in and offered $8k cash and maybe walked out with it for $9k.
