Ahhhh. Is it?

I just thought it was just you making a colours statement Alan.

Should Harry's donkey not be more black, then??

That looks very cool. Is that the install you are doing? Neat.

If you do it be very careful in the wet. I lost a friend through a TVR. They are motorbike fast in the dry, but they don't forgive pilot error in the wet.

Joe.

I'd rather be a hairdresser then proudly put a butchmobile in my sig. or even seen sitting passenger side in one. What are you gonna buy next a sperm white 89 VW Cabrio?

Sorry for the spelling, I worked 14 hours today so Lee could get his socialist medicare.

...Or the wet leaves, I was just telling Subeman90 that it is about time to put it away for the year and go back to the winter beater... my lovely little cb175.
As for the conversion, that is another TVR owners car. I'm not sure what my plans are at the moment, I really am not a fan of engines that redlines in the low 5k range and would like to go fuel injection at the very least. A friend swears he can get similar hp numbers out of the 2.8 (raced Capris in his younger days) to the stock 225 in the HO Rustang engine so I'd like to try that route first but for $750 I could be in the mid/upper 4 second range to 60 with a tank of an engine that will probably outlast me.

I'd explore the Rover engine if I had a decent source here for the tranny. Have thought about a Northstar too. Boy it would be nice to get closer to that lower side of a ton.

no it isn't. Did you ever hear of the term "polished turd"?

in due time it will be nice as he has a great shop lined up to work on it.

you know what is really weird about the car (other then the looks) is that when I am in it, it feels like being in a boat. You have the wind in your hair and if you arm is resting on the top of the door it feels like boat fiberglass and sometimes if you hit the bumps right it bobs up and down like a boat too.

if he doesn't call me by 4pm to give me heck for this post I'll be surprised.

I can overlook any opinions from someone who actually has a vintage add for the 89 VW Carbio above his the headboard of his bed. Besides, you drove it before I rebuilt the rear shocks. Provided you kept a Subaru long enough you'd have it made out of fiberglass, TVR just skips the steel to rust part of the equation.

He's right though Mike, the hand sprayed and polished finish didn't like the California sun more than a brilliant red SVX does. Only 2 spiders in the body aside from the hood which I think someone tried to use too strong of some dampeners on. You'd be hard pressed to find a 2 year old Lotus Elise with just 2 spiders in the fiberglass. Even though I have 2 later "integrated" style bumpers I think I'm going to stick with the big old black 5mph bumpers.

Re: Pics of my California BiT$H

I didn't know you had a vintage ad for a cabrio above your bed? Or was that above the sofa since I hear you like to sleep there a lot
