The "Coupe DeVille" is a 2-door hardtop as the name emplies.
The convrtible in the "DeVille" models is called the "Convertible DeVille"

In 1968 there was no retractable metal hardtop (convertible hardtop) in Cadillac's "DeVille" models.

I'm sorry. The car that I have now is a coupe deVille, I want to turn it into a convertible. I had the chance to buy a nice convertible parts car with a bad engine, but I passed it up. I wish I didn't.

Hey Alan, is that a 2.5 XT? If so, how do you find it?

I'm thinking strongly of replacing my RVR with a Japanese Forester Sti, the newer one. Nice seats and stuff, plus WRX suspension and brakes.

that would be a completely different beast!

we like it alot, but for me, the steering and suspension are too loose stock, and its not quite as fast as i'd like. its certainly quick, but doesn't "feel" quick. it doesn't really matter, as its my wife's daily driver, and she likes it just the way it is. it is a nice all-around small SUV that drives like a car.

an FSTi would be awesome, though.
