Re: what to drive - part four
kia is better on gas but the FXT is teh fastAr so it depends on how you are going to drive. Thrifty or fun?
keep the SVX home and safe.

Re: what to drive - part four
After making a 2200 mile 3 day solo road trip the other week, I vote SVX.
I felt very relaxed and unsore even after 14 hour stretches with only 2 stops for gas.

Re: what to drive - part four
I said rental car.
You can get something roomy (2 peeps with gear). You have a pretty good selection out there. You dont have to worry about road kill. You can thrash it. And you keep the mileage off the SVX. Remember, your parking in a bowling alley parking lot

Re: what to drive - part four
Hey if you have confidence in the car just go for it. Might as well go in style and comfort.

Re: what to drive - part four
You asked what to drive then you have the options for walk, train and bus?
Would you listen to the poll?

Re: what to drive - part four
i was looking for some imput. i had every intention of driving the svx, but it needs to be serviced before a road trip. the potential for better gas mileage won over comfort, style, and sound. we'll see if the kia can obtain the advertised 34 highway mpg.

Re: what to drive - part four
A 900 mile hop is basically what the SVX is designed for. Why on earth would you miss the opportunity to let the car do what you got it for? One man's opinion, but it would be like asking which car to rally; your STi or your Taurus. Sure, the Taurus cost less to fix when you ditch against a tree . . .
