I just went tonight. Unfortunately, no test and tune, so I didn't get a chance to run

sounds interesting....how much did all that cost?

im just getting ideas from people who have done similar mods and what u say with the DCCD controller, it would be pretty bomb.

so in order for me to do this mod, i would need 6sp, rear drivetrain, and subframe?

what about turbo, how much work will need to be done to the engine?

Re: 5/6mt and rw drive ?s

Not a lot if you run less than 8-9psi and you use an intercooler... Do a search and you will quickly see what is going on with F/I SVX's. There are probably half a dozen supercharged SVX's and two turbo'd SVX's.

Re: 5/6mt and rw drive ?s

Lower compression/forged pistons, rods, and headwork. SVX heads are non-interference, so there's plenty of power to be had by changing that around. Also, other things, like maybe a solid lifter conversion to help it spin. You're looking at money to make power. If you're goal is to have it RWD and have some power, it'll be cheaper to just swap in an LSx and upgrade the rear. Maybe you can find dune buggy specs on the car and go from there. They usually have awesome versions of street car motors.
