I like it!

I think the Sti badge is a nice thanks to the people that do so much to try to help the other members.
I am sure they spend a lot of their valuable time, and since there is not compensation for their efforts, it is totally an unselfish act. I love going over wiring diagrams and other information to help when I see a need... not just where the SVX is concerned, but in life... I am a people helper. I just love people.
Here we have the ability to gleam knowledge from many different members that in most cases help us solve our complicated problems. There is not a person on the network that isn't capable of teaching each of us something and I have learned tremendously from many of them. This form and the people on it are a very important part of my life. If the network wants to reward someone with a badge of appreciation, that's great! We have all learned from Trevor. His background and his willingness to help us is invaluable.

Just my 2cents worth

Thank you Keith.

However I repeat, there are many members who while not being absolutely technical, put in huge amounts of time in affording assistance regarding more mundane matters. These are often even more baffling and often endless photos are presented as back up by the contributors. A line should not be drawn on any basis of superiority.

I contend that no one has the ability to judge in respect of any technical award. The overall evidence in respect of all who help out is posted daily. The most valued tribute is a thank you in reply to a suggested remedy, regardless of any technical aspect. Those offering assistance should surely desire no more.
