Which wheels to choose?
Hmmm...Which wheel do you think?
Rota Battles: OR Rota Boosts: These will be going on my black SVX. The Battle's are 18x7.5, and the Boosts are 18x8.

I like their P45F wheels better.

definatly not the boost dude... the other day i was parked beside a fellow who just spent $2500 on a wheel very simalar to the boost then he seen my wheels and realised how silly his 10 spokers looked, i think even my six spokes are a little on the small side , our cars are big and suit big chunky wheels not bike wheels...
just my opinion , your the one paying the dollars and got to look at them every day so you choose wisely, took me 6 months to finaly decide on mine |

Your car is black, right??? If I am right I would get the battles in the plain silver. Not good for track wheels, but for every day stuff they will be uber

Yup, black car. I'm leaning toward the Battles as well. Either plain silver or steel grey. The place I'll likely end up getting them is a Subaru performance shop, really good bunch of guys. I'm sure they'll let me at least put the wheels beside the car to get an idea of how they will look before buying them.
I actually prefer the open, lightweight look to the heavy spoked beefy design. I'll take the Rotas over something like the Murano wheels any day.

Cool site, but the wheel sizes don't really match. The tires on the car are much too big. 16" on there looks like real life 18". The Ozzy Racing 32 series wheels are pretty close to the Rota Battles.
Anyone want to photoshop the dark silver Battles onto a black SVX? I would be uber grateful.

Ohwow, Rota's new designs are a step up. I'd go with battles, anything but steel grey.

Battles are old designs. Are they still available? I thought they'd been dropped. I vote for Battles. They remind me of my SSR's

Devil's...
I'm odd man out but the boost 10-spoke gunmetal is the one I'd pick.
However, I'll qualify that by saying I would not put any wheel, not even the most expensive three piece lightweight, on my car if it had 10 holes, like it was designed to handle two PCDs. That screams aftermarket to me, a wheel built to suit a selection of ricers. If it ain't got the correct PCD and the correct offset to suit the car, I don't really want to know about a compromise rim. Joe

I could also just have forgotten what the old ones look like, but I think they were more flat.
