Depends on what you know of the car's history. Normal maintenance is done at 30k intervals.

I take it you don't have an owner's manual?

As David said, it depends on what has been replaced previously, but here is what the manual recommends [for 90K service]

Drive belts: Inspect
Camshaft belt: Replace[this should have been done @60. If changed=OK]
Engine oil: Replace
Engine oil filter Replace
Engine coolant Replace, inspect system, hoses & connections
Fuel filter Replace, inspect system, lines & connections
Air cleaner Replace
Spark plugs Replace [not if you have already done so @60k]
Differential oil f&r Replace
Trans oil Replace
Brake fluid Replace
Brake pads/disks Inspect
Brake linings Inspect
Brake lines Inspect
Brake operation Test
Steering & suspension Inspect
Front&Rear wheel
bearing lubricant Inspect

That's about it. If you do all this lot, your SVX will love you and keep you safe.

thanks guys for the help, and no i dont have an owners manual.

Another thing that has started up lately. the car will turn over VERY slowly and then eventually fire up. when it does, LOTS of white smoke comes out the tail pipes. I think the smoke is all the extra fuel in the cylinders. now about the starting, is it the battery, starter, altenator, or all three? should i just take it to the dealership and have them check it out?

lazy turnover?

Hard to say

Sounds like your voltage is low. This could be caused by a weak battery, or a faulty charging system [alternator] and/or maybe you are using a lot of equipment, ICE and such.

A dieing battery is the most likely. You will need to bring it to a battery shop, and have them do the discharge test on it. If it's the battery, it's your easiest fix.

If it's not the battery, you need an auto electrician to check the output from the alternator.

Best of luck with it.

Extra fuel would cause black smoke. White smoke usually indicates antifreeze.

So is my coolant leaking through my head gaskets? I was planning or replacing them anyways.

sorry to ask a question with out giving a solid answer but where is the fuel pressure regulator on these cars? because you might want to check that for leakage... and as far as the charging system goes you can get the whole system checked at most shops.... or go get the battery tested for free... and just check the voltage on the battery when your car is running it should be about 14v.... remember it can still read 14v and you can still have a bad alternator but for that to happen is rare...head gaskets should be fine check your coolent to see if it looks brown and muddy and under your oil cap for the same looking residue

The best way I know of to check for a bad head gasket is if there is a white 'residue?' on the top of the oil cap, it is caused by antifreeze boiling off inside the engine.
