Fuse, connection, wire or other?
Well I've got a new problem and I can't find a thread with an appropriate resolution.
I've lost most of my interior lights. Here's what works and doesn't work: Doesn't work ------------- - dash lights that come on with the headlights - interior dome light/spot lights - fog lights - ABS (error code 10 but may or may not be related) - door lights - heater/AC fan Works ------ - headlights, park lights, taillights - green/orange interior button lights - sunvisor lights - power seat - lighter - power seatbelts - sunroof I quickly checked all the fuses both inside the car and under the hood with a multimeter without removing them and they all test fine. I'm going to pull them when I get home from work and check them again as well as check their sockets for current. I cleaned the grounds for the ABS computer but nothing changed. All I need is a bit of help with the best direction I should be taking to tackle this issue.

How did you check the fuses without removing them? Take them out and visually look at them or set your multimeter to continuity to check them, always without voltage of course.

The fuses I checked all have terminals on the back just for that purpose.
What I failed to realize was that those red blocks in the hood fuse box are also fuses (45A). The problem was that one of them had a poor connection and must have been arcing. It burned the plastic of the fuse but not the fuse itself. I cleaned the contacts of the fuse as best I could for now until I can get a replacement. Everything is back to normal again. Does anyone know if these are a universal item or Subaru (SVX) specific?

I don't know, but if you get in a jam, let me know. I may be able to get you one.

I'll probably get a new one on my next parts order. They are pretty cheap but thanks for the offer anyway
