So-Cal Meetup

We all know Tom is going to be out on the Westcoast this Aug. 7th. We thought it'd be sweet if we could get as many So-Cal and Westcoast SVXi together for a mini-meet and BBQ. I was thinking of having it either at Ocean Beach or Imperial Beach. The IB state beach has a big parking lot but I think you have to pay to get in. And OB also has a fairly large lot. So post up who wants to come and I'll start a list.

I'm putting it in here so more people see it and I don't forget to check it for updates.

Little Update... The BBQ is still on, but I'm still not sure where yet. I was at Ocean Beach yesterday and the parking lot isn't as big as I remember. I'm going to go down to the Silver Strand State Beach this weekend and see what up down there. I know the parking lot there is HUGE and never totally full.

Update: Had to change the date to the 6th which is the Sunday before. Tom and I will only be able to work till 530 that night so we'd start the BBQ/GTG around 630-7. Potluck style BYOB.

If you dont or didnt wanna go then why agree.
i plan on goin and would love to have at least 2 more SVX's owning the highway on the way down.

No worries if no one else wants to show. I know KevinM was interested, I'll have to give him a call. But like I said, this is a multi-use BBQ for SVXers and to Celebrate my engagement. There will still be plenty of nice Euros in the parking lot and a lot of great people at the BBQ.

I should be there, barring any unforseen circumstances. There is a good chance that the beach may turn into glass by then with all this damn heat! It feels like AZ out here!

I've seen him post on here before. He had his pearl SVX vandalized a couple months ago. I have acctually seen his Ebony SVX parked at the Dog Beach I take my pugs to.
