fixing radiator

hey all,

Well i got home from class today and low and behold my car is gushing out antifreeze. Seeing its construction time i guess a rock flew up and hit the radiator. Anyway im going to call a radiator shop tomorrow im just curious as to if anyone has fixed a leak (in the fins) and if so how much did it cost? Thanks!

Try half a dozen eggs and bring the rpms up to 2500 and hold untill it stops leaking.

Is the plastic top cracked? or do you have a hole in the fins?

Ive fixed the fins with lead solder and a tourch, the plastic tank i dont have a clue.
