I hope that has a short shifter. The Tremec 3650 stock shifter sure has a very long throw . Plans to get smoked headlights like the ones on the 02-04? :P (correct me if the had the 'darker' headlights earlier or later)

As for rustangs, they may go quick, but they are ugly and old tech. The GT is intresting, but is no Carerra GT or even a 997TT that kills the ford for only $122k and is AWD.

As for the motor size issue I have, why lie? Are they that insecure?

And when I watch Speed Channel coverage at Lime Rock and Mazda at Laguna Seca, it's the 911 GT2 whomping all over the new gen rustang GT as well as the RX-8 and BMW M3.
If you know anything about roadracing, you'd know that Fox body mustangs can easily clean up at the track.

** I'm guessing 75% of the people that just read that statement are angry and confused**

It's true, from the factory they were nothing to write home about in the handling department. However, there are quite a few companies out their that have sorted these cars out and sell parts that make them tear up a racetrack. Griggs and Maximum Motorsports have basically done the math to get the suspension geometry optimal... Not it is not just bolting on coilovers, but for the cost of a well sorted fox body mustange putting down 300/300 to the wheels, you could only buy half of a porsche.

There is a reason that you see certain cars at the track more often than others...

after being thoroughly worked over for racing on the cheap...sure.

as a car you drive on the street...much suck.

....Because they made at least a bajillion of them?

Here's some proof
I added up just the latest 3 years and ended up with the roundabouts of a half a million.
