Powerbook selection...

The time is comming, I've pretty much decided to go with a 15" G4 powerbook, but I havn't decided on processor speed, fast is it, some photoshop use, but at some point I plan to get a dual processor G4 tower, it looks like 800mhz and 1ghz are fairly common, and prices run arround $1 per mhz, any input on how to decide how much speed to buy, other than buy the fastest that I can afford, I'll grow into it...my motto

Talking

i have a 17 inch powerbook speed isnt an issue if you are only using photo shop now if you do video work i suggest you get the new 15 inch with the dual core chip otherwise take advantage of the price drop on the 15 inch power book. airport wireless is just wireless internet like 802.11 and bluetoothe is another wireless feature to connect to other computers printers cellphones pdas headsets wirelessly etc.

now the thing is you will probably never have any problems with your powerbook my friends all have pc they always have to format and restore and have viruses and all kinds of problems!! me zip nada perfect for a year not one problem !!! so welcome aboard and have fun if you have more questions let me know.

sorry its so long and spelling sucks

Shark- It is kinda like the metric system, it looks scarey from the outside, but once you learn it you wonder why everyone else insists on the "other" system... Granted I learned on a Mac and wondered why everyone else used the "other" system, I finally realized that everyone else uses the "other" system because everyone else uses the "other" system... (yes, that says exactly what I wanted it to say)

CaliSVX-what is your processor speed? Thanks for the clearing up the terms
