though if someone wants to drive my car up for the meet, I sure could use a few lights and such fixed......

Just getting started.
I am trying to find out more about forums and saw your barbeque. I am in Eastern WA and can't make this event but am interested in trying to figure out if there are such events in Eastern Washington.
In addition I am trying to find out if anyone knows anything about diagnosis for clicking soung when I turn sharp right on uphill incline at slow speeds. I thought it was CV shaft so had it replaced at local shop. Clicking stopped for a week or so and then came back a little at a time. I thought I had a faulty CV shaft but it makes no sense. I read forums and thought it migh be bearing but most references are to rear wheel bearings. I am about to go to Subaru shop and have them diagnose. One other issue is that transmission goes into reverse slowly. Took to transmission shop that does subaru and they suggested it may be a low pressure valve in transmission that are prone to failure. Any help or help on how to get help on forum is appreciated. Hope event goes well. Thanks.

Most of the meets are here on the West side. Have you changed your transmission fluid yet? That is the first thing I would do and then put a cooler on it if you don't have one on now. Hope to see you at one of our meets.

Jumpinjimmy- Have you checked your front wheel barings? They may need to be re-packed and also as was suggested is check your tranny fluid level and mabye even service it. Thats my two cents even though I am probibally wrong.
