pop the drivers door skin off and look at it vs. the passenger side - something must be different.

sounds like the sleeve lock regulator snapped. it's a pretty easy fix as long as you don't mess with the up/down switch now and the cable hasn't come off the track. pop "sleeve lock regulator" into a search - there are a ton of threads with pics on replacement of it.

Got inside the door, now have taped up window Looked for sleeve lock regulator, not to be found, the 'T' slot in the metal is empty. The cable works fine using the switch. Since I have 2 92's I'm ordering 8 of these puppys. I tried the right rear window switch, the one by that window, it works fine, the switch for it in the driver's door is slow and jerky???? Thanks for the help

Major woes

have new sleeve lock regulators...not working....the regulator jumps out of its possition and window drops to bottom... the regulator and stationary plastic clip do not line up, they crash on each up or down movement of the window?? This totally sucks...ready to apply dynamite...total sh** deal...beyond my tolerance....

do you have the cable in the right path? it should be on the rollers at top and bottom and then inside the metal tabs. Also it needs to be tight - you may have to adjust the slack out of it with the adjustment piece on the bottom.

cable moves per switch

the new regulator does not line up with the stationary plastic clip. The new regulator pops out of its position on each up or down movement of the window, I am toast..... It looks easy, I am not dumb, totally sucks......

Matt,
Thanks for the info, I will reingauge when the sun comes up. I just looked at a locker picture, I have been inserting the regulator 180 degrees wrong which caused it to hit the stationary clip every up & down. More later...

Talking happy camper...window works!!!

Installed the regulator as in Vykam's picture and all is well!!! At first I was just inserting it in the T slot & it would fall out, if you haven't done this yet the flat part goes to the right in the drivers door, insert the cable lug, push regulator into slot and slide it to the left, it will snap into place. So easy I made it difficult

Matt, thanks again for your help.

Dave
