Falcons, Dazed and Confused.

The Falcons have been Dazed and Confused for so long it's can't be true.
They only wanted a few touchdown, but they never bargained for you.
Lots of people talk and few of them know,
The soul of that team was created below.

They hurt and abuse telling' all of there football lies.
Run around sweet Vick, Lord how you hypnotize.
Your a pretty good player, and you played for UVA
Gotta love your college career, but slow down on the beer.

Every day I work so hard, bringing' home my hard earned pay
I try to watch you play, but you fumble the ball away.
You don't know where you're going', only know where you've been,
As soon as the ball is hiked, you throw an interception again.

Your dazed and confused, after that last sack.
Then you try to run, but even then you can't do jack
Take it easy Michael, let them say what they will.
Will your tongue wag so much, when you try to play the Bills?.

I was nine years old the first season the Falcons fielded a team, and hooked at that impressionable age, I've been a fan ever since. I'm 47 now, and for all those years, they've sucked. A handful of playoff appearances, one conference championship, one Super Bowl loss.

I'm used to it.

Darrell hang in there man their time will come someday. Its a GREAT thing you stuck with them. I love to see fans stay with their teams. Funny ...i started actually rooting for philly teams when i was 5 and none of them were winning teams ....now all 4 teams have a shot at the playoffs and making a run for the title in their respective sports.

I dunno... I think I would rather go into the season knowing that my team doesnt have what it takes to win the superbowl, rather than waiting until the superbowl, or 3 NFC Championship games to find out we suck...

I dunno if i'd say that a team who dominated the regular season, and made it to the NFC championship game four years in a row, sucks. That puts them in the top 4 teams in the NFL for the last four years. Would you say then that 30 out of 32 teams in the NFL "suck"?

Sounds a bit harsh.

We suck? Have you ever played a day of sports in your life? Do you know how hard it is to even make the playoffs year after year? I've been apart of two championship football teams in highschool and one baseball championship team in college. Making the playoffs is hard enough...but making it to the title game is even harder. You have no idea whatsoever what you are talking about.

I have been a Cowboys fan since the age of 5. That would be 1975. I grew up in South Jersey, but have ALWAYS been a cowboys fan. Baseball was the Blue Jays for a bit, but Baltimore was always my true love there. As soon as New Jersey got a Hockey team I was all over them. I still have a Red, White, and Green Devils jersey with Weinrich on it from when he made the All Rookie Team. I'm not much of a basketball fan.

My first Eagles game was when i was 5 in 1990...my 6th birthday was a month away. It was sometime in mid october against the green bay packers at the VET. And we won 31-0. Randall Cunningham had about 3500 yards passing and 950 yards rushing that year. He was our leading rusher LOL.

Now I know what you guys felt like after losing to Atlanta. To lose to such an inferior team is more devastating then getting beat by a worthy opponet. Three lucky plays and you win a game you were in no way capable of even being in. Dallas, once again played down to the level of it's competition. When we learn to put away the bad teams rather then let them hang around, maybe we can take the next step. And I thought Sean Taylor was in prison?
