What fits????
Hey i know i have posted the samething. I have a 1992 Subaru SVX AWD. Tranny is going. I was wondering does the auto trannies from XT, Legacy, Forester, and other Subaru models fit?? They all look similar. Look for the tranny thats direct bolt up. If it doesn't fit i guess i have to have the tranny rebuilt.

If you bolt up a Legacy transmission, you'll have to change the flexplate and the innards of the rear diff. Take it from someone who knows. The car lot that sold me my first SVX thought the same thing, "It looks like it'll fit." The Legacy tranny didn't last very long after I bought the car.
