Talking people into coming to that meet would be a hard shell...

< We could also invite a whole bunch of blue
crabs. What do you think?>

"Local guys go to car meet and get a case of crabs...details at 11..."

or

What do you call a car club/food fest get together on the Chesapeake Bay?

An SVX with crab meet.... Don

Clawing your way back I see, Don. Well, I'm all for a case.. I mean a bushel of crabs, but they probably cost 5 bucks apiece in the winter. Larry - AC (not air conditioning) sounds pretty good, but no one besides me responded to your meet request. Wanna try to revive it?
Ron.

Jean and I are members! Let us know which issues carry your work. Or is it that monthly column about cheap wine that is good for old folks blood vessels? Don
Shari and I are also members (though, I'm really not old enough ) Perhaps we should try to do a group buy with the "Box o' Spirits" folks.

Mummerts the word....

We must mention that we know Ron. He is well-known to those folks. He is the only "individual" that qualifies for a "group" spirit discount...

first, crabs are a good idea, but ron has to get them, i ain't gonna smell up my car!

second, ya gotta wait till it's hotter, crabs are best outdoors.

third, there is a place called "camerons", about 4 locations, one in silver spring, they have inexpensive bussels and a coupon in the "post" weekly in season.

fourth, we have to send ann margaret an invite.

Significant Technical Input
I believe it was Kingfish (from Amos and Andy) that once said "Run home boy and tell your mama to put the water on to boil cause your daddy's coming home with the crabs!"

How's that for p.c.?

I'll clap for that one, Beav.

It's rather coincidental - last weekend the Amos 'n Andy show, both radio & TV editions, was a topic of conversation between me & a friend. We agreed that PC killed what was argueably the funniest show of all time. Yet, we both felt that the show wasn't really derogatory or insulting. In fact, it was morally uplifting if anyone of any race could get beyond the caricatures, & concentrate on the underlying theme of the show which was, "deceit will ultimately lose to honesty."
Ron.

Let's not forget the Disney Classic, "Song of the South." I actually have a copy. It's a shame that I have to watch it with Japanese subtitles.

While we're all scratching our heads (or other places) about crabs, why don't some of you Maryland SVXers get off your duffs and organize a Baltimore Crab Fest SVX Meet.

We could even tour Camden Yards (home stadium of the Baltimore Orioles ). I could even wear my NY Yankee jacket and hat and you can pelt me with stadium trash (as opposed to trailer park trash).

Or, how about the Inner Harbor (as opposed to Rondo's Inner Sanctum) tour.

As Nike says, "Just Do It !!!"
