Background Light ? ? ?

Does the foglight switch have a background lite on (when the headlights are on) like the cruise control switch does, or is it not background lit (like the emergency lights switch)?

THANKS!

All of the switches light up. You'll need to replace the bulbs in your fog light switch and your hazard switch!

There is a list of lights and the part numbers in the How-To Locker.

Yeah, you need some bulbs. All of those switches are backlit. Your central door lock switch and your mirror control switches should light up also (something I didn't know for a while).

its a real pain in the ass. You gotta take out your dash panel, and then take out the box that holds all the switches, there are two little tiny bulbs for each switch, one thats a constant backlight and the other is the light that comes on when the switch is active. You can use a small flathead screwdriver to get them out.

i dont want to scare you away from doin it...
there's three screws above the steering wheel that hold the dash trim in, i think thats all you need to take out to start to force it off.
I know there are more screws on either side of the wheel, I dont know how ur supposed to take them off without breaking something...
Now think about it, i remember breaking part of the trim when i replaced mine

I never removed the dash panel to change the bulbs (all of mine were out). The switch clusters will pull out. Try pulling on the switch cluster from the inside (above the steering column). It will pull out a bit. You must pull on the other side as well but be careful not to damage the dash. I used a plastic screw driver to accomplish this. Once it's out everything becomes more obvious.

I have always done it like Earthworm. It is very easy. Maybe I will do a How-To on this in the next day or so.
