steering problem

recently i've been having problems with my car's steering.
i noticed it was pulling slightly to the right, as well as the steering feeling numb and over boosted. i've checked tread wear, tire pressures and power steering fluid, and all seem ok. i was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem; i'm thinking alignment or maybe a loose tie rod.
