Now I am a member

I have been dabbling with my new SVX for about a month. I wandered this site and felt like an onlooker. But then...I find out my left rear wheel bearings are rotten. Damn. No Wonder the "tire noise" seemed so loud, haha. But since that dent, I mean chasm, in my bank account...I feel more like a member. Haha. Oh well, just wanted to share. But since It's already taken that much out of me...maybe I'll put in some SS brake lines and some drilled rotors...might as well. it's jsut hard on a college student's budget.

Welcome to the club, Scott! Repairs like that are definitely an inititation. I'm replacing my transmission now. Glad to have you aboard!

Congrats Scott! Between my two SVXes I've replaced a rear set (RR on one, LR on the other). I don't intend to EVER have to replace those two, since Beav installed them.

We won't even talk about the tranny problems.

Perhaps we should start handing out ribbons (like the military) for each repair. Some of us would wind up looking like a Russian General on Parade Day.

Again, welcome to FULL membership (not that you weren't already)

Watch that budget. I'd much rather see you driving your SVX to WORK, than to see you dress it up nice for the next owner (unless, of course, it's me ).

I totally know what you mean.

Tip: Open another bank account titled "S - V - write alot of cheX"

I sometimes find myself thinking, how can I drive such a nice car and also be so poor?
