FR Brake hard line
Looking for the brake piping that goes from the abs to the passenger front wheel. Could not get the nut removed when installing new ss lines. Ended up rounding the nut and twisting the hard line

Re: FR Brake hard line
A full set of new front lines is pretty inexpensive from subaruparts.com. Otherwise it's probably easiest to bend up a new line.

Re: FR Brake hard line
Yeah, I'm thinking bending my own stainless steel ones may be a good route. Figured if I could get one here for cheap I wouldn't need a bender. What size is the line and fitting? 3/16'' Line, 3/8''-24 Fittings?

Re: FR Brake hard line
JEGS sells stainless lines, 3/16" is what you're looking for. I'm not sure on the fitting though.

Re: FR Brake hard line
I strongly advise against trying to bend up stainless. It's a total pain in the ass.
Just get the poly-v coated mild steel. It won't rust for a long time to come, and it's infinitely easier to shape. |
