Re: A Disappointment to Beer Lovers
I like Cooper's too, a good brew. A similar but better tasting beer is Samuel Adams. Auzzies would not actually know what a beer tasted like. They chill it till your taste buds can't tell the difference. Once it's wet and cold, they're happy. Danny, we will have to take you to task for not being specific enough. You are not actually talking about beer in general. You are talking about Pilsner. Now pilsner is just one type of lager, and lager is bottom brewed and is the tipple of choice for lager louts and soccer hooligans. Whereas proper ale is top brewed and is the choice of gentlemen everywhere. If all these lager louts have to move closer to the arctic circle to maintain their pilsner habit, I can't see me crying in my beer for them.

Re: A Disappointment to Beer Lovers
your beers are for children.
If it ain't bitter and strong it might as well be bud light. IPA's FTMFW. then again, I'll drink anything as long as it's fairly cold.

Re: A Disappointment to Beer Lovers
Just to be safe, I went out and drank up my share last night. I don't want to be shorted. It was a great night though. Some college girls birthday and I think every chick from the college was there. I was the only old fart and the odds were about 5:1 females to males. I must have had 3 heart attacks and several seizures. Oh, what a way to go--good beer and good company.

Re: A Disappointment to Beer Lovers
I like it Lee.
With a name like Hopp you would have to do your share of tasting anyway. For quality control reasons, if nothing else. I'm going out and doing my own civic duty tonight, as it happens. We could live without a few auto manufacturers I reckon; but if the breweries don't get our support and close down, the ladies will get a lot less good looking, and we can't let that happen. Joe
