it plumbs up to housing which has the switch at the side of the pump on my 92 ls-l. Look for the switch on yours and see where the hose is routed.

looked at my engine in that area,,,,nothing like yours on my 92.
That part is for picking up emissions for routing to the throttle body. If that is a hole, probably a good idea to plug it.

thanks guys.....can anybody get me a pciture of where that fitting is going? the fitting is on the left side under the the intake manifold and out hte back, if i could get a picture of it it would be great so i can plug it if it already isnt. So its not harming anything not being hooked up? Beav do you have any advice?

Hey Phast...

Looks like your leaking oil around those valve covers too... or is it just the way the pic came out?

yea...

Thanks for the help...when i go home tommorow i can compare your pics and see what i can/need to do to fix this problem.
Thanks dromano, helps a lot!
Ya it is leaking a little oil, it has 184k on it, and before it goes anywhere it will be somewhat rebuilt, i plan on redoing most of the car, i bought it becuase of what it dosnt have done to it rather then what is. You know all those people who say, "Man, you should have seen my first sports car! I had to sell it though, wish i hadnt!"
Well, i did sell my first SVX by the time i was 17. And now that im 19 and in collage, i bought this SVX to just have, it needs alot of work, but i do what i can as i go. I have about half the parts i need to do a 5spd conversion and ran out of money, so it will be a long while!. ive just being fixing things. Im going todo the headlights next weekend according to Lwin's walkthrough.

I dont know if it is leaking, i think it more or less seaped out over the years.

Anyways if anyone has anymore info for me i would appreciate it!
